Rescuing injured Disabled persons in case of Disasters. Civil Protection's Challenge in the Challenge
The aim of the conference was to agree upon guidelines for the rescue of persons with disabilities in case of disaster as well as the elaboration of the Verona Charter which should contain general principles concerning the rescue of persons with disabilities in case of disaster.

Discussion, elaboration and subscription of the Verona Charter which should contain general principles concerning the rescue of persons with disabilities in case of disaster.
The Verona Charter would not intend to lay down new rights with legal value. Rather, the aim of the Verona Charter will be to tie existing fundamental liberties and principles together and render them more visible to citizens and institutions.
The secretariat of the conference was run by the Office for International Relations of ULSS 20 Verona.
