Country Profiles
Methodology for Information Collection

Task Forces of international experts for each of the identified areas o f interest have been set up (child, youth, intimate partner, elderly).

Each of the project Task Forces has compiled a Country profile on its related focus area for each of the 27 Member States on the basis of existing information from National (Relevant Ministries, Statistical Offices, Police and Criminal Justice data, Hospitals), European (Eurobarometer, Eurostat, OECD..) and International (WHO, UN) sources.

WHO violence prevention National Focal Persons are asked to validate the information in the country profiles and to check whether there is more updated information or additional relevant indicators.
